A new phase in life...

...Jason and I are going to be closing on our very first house February 5 and we are beyond excited. There's lots of work to be done, but we are really looking forward to making our new house, our home.

Some things we'll be working on in the next month:

• De-popcorn the ceiling in the entire house
• Paint primer on all the walls in the house (every room is a different color)
• Rip up carpet and replace with wood laminate and new carpet
• Stain kitchen and bathroom cabinets a dark brown color
• Buy new fixtures for most of the rooms (one room has a pink velvet covered fan...oh, dear)
• Buy all new kitchen appliances.
